John Sterling will take us on a virtual trip to the four diverse eco-regions of Paraguay, each with a multitude of incredible birds that are endemic to each region as well as some amazing mammals and other creatures.
John worked with the local bird organization and National Audubon to help with training birding guides in the country by producing a training curriculum, and has led several tours there highlighting wildlife diversity and conservation issues.
The program starts at 7:30 p.m., but everyone is invited for refreshments and conversation at 7:00. We meet at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A Street in Davis.
