The pond at Northstar Park and the Julie Partansky Pond (North Area Drainage Basin) attract a variety of land birds as well as water birds year-round, especially after runoff from surrounding neighborhoods has filled the Partansky Pond.
Meet at 9 am in the 3500 Anderson Road parking lot for a slow-moving stroll around the ponds to see what’s there, catering to beginners as well as intermediate-level birders. Bring your binoculars. Will finish no later than 12 noon.
